Brewed by: Crown Brewing, 211 S. East St., Crown Point, Ind.
Style: Porter
ABV: 6.1
4 out of 5 burps
First I was like, chocolate?
Then I was like, where’s the fire to go with this smoke?
Then I was all, I don’t know, it might be industrial sludge. But if so, it’s beer sludge, and I’m quite OK with that.
The description on Crown’s website uses the phrase “entirely drinkable.” If you can’t use those words to describe a beer, or any beverage for that matter, maybe throw that nasty baby out with its industrial dishwater because you did something very wrong.
