Despite how much I like the label, this one’s too far on the bitter side of the chocolaty, malty world of beer.

AJ says it’s bitter “like an Englishman.” But I think perhaps the Irish might be more bitter, or maybe the Scottish. But probably just me.

Me because I’m trying this one after a 5-burp-alarm Vanilla Porter that I liked a helluva lot more than this bitter, bitter stool sample. Minus the stool.

Probably I’m just bitter.
