Brewed by: Upland Brewing Co., Bloomington, Ind.
ABV: 9.3
4.5 out of 5 burps
At first I was like, oh, fancy glass. That means it’s a bit more brew than I really wanted at 4 p.m. on a 60 degree Tuesday.
Then I noticed the sign that says 9.3 percent ABV. Missed that.
After I took that in, along with several more sips, I received a message from my feet, which have logged more than 85 running-miles this month.
The message: “We likey.”
So I factored that in, as well as word from my tongue: “I’m totally mellowing in your face.”
As the glass approached halfway, there was no further word from the feet, which is the best of all possible signs.
Especially if frostbite is on one of them. No one wants that sign.
