I don’t even care about the perfectly average porter in my pint glass. Today I’m thankful I opted for my sunglasses sans contacts. So now that I have them off inside the dim Fountain Square Brewing tasting room, things at a distance are a little out of focus. Again, I’m so very, very thankful for this.

It seems the art over on yon wall making the semblance of a patriotic flag actually is made of maxipads.

Nasty enough, but then consider one of the colors of the flag is red.

This would seem to be diametrically opposed to the beer-imbibing demographic’s enjoyment of this facility’s main product. So my beer review ends up with: not enough porter goodness, way too much feminine-hygiene yuck all over the freakin’ wall.

But suddenly, this place gets a saving grace: A dude with an ankle bracelet just came in, used the head and left.

Now that’s more in the spirit of things.
