National Corvette-Eating Sinkhole Musem

September 10, 2014

The National Corvette Museum says it’s going to fill in its Corvette-eating sinkhole. Back in February, the hole opened up (to about 30 feet deep, 65 feet wide) and decided that eight sports cars would make a splendid midnight snack.

Keeping a sinkhole as a pet that’s viewable by the public is costly, though, so the void will be going bye-bye starting in November.

On the way back from beer-tasting in Nashville, Tenn., I had to stop by to pay respects while the hole and its unfinished meal were still on display.
