Dancing Ann gets upstaged by Dancing Taylor

“Ann Dancing” meets Dancing Taylor, March 14, 2014.

“Ann Dancing” is an artwork designed by London-born artist Julian Opie, installed at the intersection of Mass Ave., Alabama Street and Vermont Street in Indianapolis. Taylor is a 5-year-old niece of mine who felt the groove as we hung out on Pi Day.

I frequently get to drive by “Ann” on the way to work, and now she’ll make me even happier when I think of this duet.
